BDO annual report wins top award
The top CiB (British Association of Communicators in Business) award in the annual report category for 2009 has gone to Connecting with clients for leading accountancy firm BDO. Lang Communications worked with designer navyblue on the publication.
“The brief was to position the firm as every bit as capable as the Big Four but more accessible and personable. Together with navyblue, we tried to convey this in the visual style and tone of voice, as well as in the actual content,” says chairman Joe Lang.
The CiB judges explain the award: “The connection with clients that underpins BDO’s business is apparent throughout the Report. You had a theme and you stuck to it… This feels like a company that is solid but has flair and imagination”.
