Joe Lang
Joe Lang is Chairman of Lang Communications, which he founded in 1982.
With a degree in English and Drama from Bristol University, Joe worked in the theatre before moving into PR and advertising. During his corporate career in the steel, oil and air transport industries, his responsibilities included internal communications, media relations, strategy papers and presentations for CEOs, and a major oil company’s corporate advertising.
In 1982, he set up Lang Communications to provide corporate publishing and copywriting expertise to clients in the private and public sectors.
Over the past 20 or so years he has written a very wide range of corporate communications and marketing material, winning British Association of Communicators in Business (CiB) awards year after year. While managing the business for over two decades he has broadened its offer in line with developments in corporate communications. Joe continues to provide hands-on client support, specialising in strategic and investor communications – he has written annual reports for over 70 organisations.
In August 2002, in recognition of his standing in the field of corporate communications, Joe was elected a Fellow of the British Association of Communicators in Business.
